Pumpkin Patches on Oahu: Fall 2026
Oahu has five pumpkin patches open to the public this fall, and four of them run only on certain days in October. Waimanalo Country Farms is the one open for weeks; the rest are a two-weekend farm patch in Kunia, a nursery in Mililani and two one-day festivals in town. Here are the 2026 dates, hours and prices from each organizer, the drive from Waikiki, and which one fits your trip.

Pumpkins are a hard crop in Hawaiʻi, and 2026 made it harder. Storms Lala and Lowell hit Oahu’s farms just before the season. Waimanalo Country Farms told KHON that Lala brought down crops and fencing and left a couple of its sunflower fields with no flowers at all, and it pushed back its opening; it still harvested enough to run the festival, per Hawaii News Now. Aloun Farms said the storms took its mini pumpkins and left the rest of the crop in good shape.

Patches that have not announced a 2026 season are left out. Our guide to the best time to visit Oahu covers fall weather and crowds.
Windward Oahu Pumpkin Patch: Waimānalo
Waimanalo Country Farms
The one patch with a real season: six weeks, not one or two weekends. Its Fall Harvest Festival opened Sept. 29 after a storm delay and runs until Nov. 11, pending the sunflower bloom. Entry covers the pumpkin patch, the sunflower fields, the photo spots and the country market, where the fresh-squeezed lemonade and cornbread are the orders. Pumpkins cost extra, $2 to $30 by size, and sunflowers are $3 a stem (no picking your own). Monday through Thursday is $12, or $10 for kamaʻāina and military; Friday through Sunday is $15 and $12. Those are cash prices: cards add a 3.5% fee plus sales tax. Everyone 3 and up pays. Wear closed-toe shoes (required), leave the dog at home, and know the entry has a 9.5-foot vehicle clearance. Our full Waimanalo Country Farms guide covers parking, the food stand and Rustic Nights.
Weekdays open at 1 p.m. and weekends at 9 a.m., with last entry at 4 p.m. both ways. There are no reservations for daytime visits, and parking is limited, so carpool. The farm is about 40 minutes from Waikiki along the east side; stop at the Makapuʻu Lighthouse trail on the way out and make it a half-day loop. Check the farm’s site before you go, since it closes in bad weather.
Central Oahu Pumpkin Patches: Kunia and Mililani
Kunia and Mililani sit a few miles apart on the central plateau, roughly 40 minutes from Waikiki. On Oct. 17 or Oct. 24, both Saturdays, you can do both in one morning.
Aloun Farms 24th Annual Pumpkin Patch
Aloun Farms has run a fall pumpkin patch for more than 23 years, and in 2026 it moves to a new home, the Aloun Country Market in Kunia, for two weekends only: Oct. 17 and 18, and Oct. 24 and 25, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the pick-your-own patch, with locally grown pumpkins in the field, sunflower fields to walk, the market’s fresh produce and local vendors. Admission is $5 a person, 2 and under free, and parking on site is free. School field tours are off this year; it is a family weekend only. Go on the first weekend, while the field is full. Details are on Aloun’s pumpkin patch page.
Mari’s Gardens, Mililani
A Mililani nursery and farm that sets out a pumpkin patch in October; the Star-Advertiser photographed families picking there on Oct. 5. Honolulu Magazine lists the 2026 patch as Oct. 3 to 31, free to enter, with pumpkins priced by weight. Mari’s own page posts only its regular garden hours: Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday. Call (808) 625-2800 before a special trip. The fall extra is its Spooky Bring Your Own Terrarium workshop, Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. to noon, $40, where you build a Halloween terrarium in a glass jar you bring (10 inches or smaller); a second session runs at Mari’s Kailua garden on Oct. 30, 5 to 6 p.m. Book it on the workshops page. Parking at the Mililani garden is limited. Pair it with Aloun on a Saturday, since Mari’s closes Sundays.
No car for the day? Neither farm runs a shuttle. The closest thing is a tour that stops at Dole Plantation, on the same central plateau, where the Pineapple Garden Maze stands in for a corn maze (maze and train tickets are extra on the tour below).

East Honolulu’s school fall festival, now in its 14th year, runs one day only: Saturday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The $10 Pumpkin Keiki Zone ticket (2 and under free) is the reason to go with small kids: it covers the pumpkin patch plus a mini pumpkin to take home, a petting zoo, meet-and-greets with Woody and Jessie from Toy Story, live entertainment, contests and keiki activities.
