Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club: Villas on the Lagoon

This is a Marriott Vacation Club timeshare resort, but anyone can book a night on marriott.com, including with Bonvoy points. Marriott publishes a sales-presentation requirement only for Marriott Vacation Club’s discounted Oahu packages, which require “a 90- to 120-minute timeshare sales presentation.” A regular booking lists no such condition.

About 550 villas fill three towers, each unit in ocean or mountain view. A one-bedroom is 920 square feet and sleeps 4; a two-bedroom is 1,280 and sleeps 6, with two baths; a three-bedroom is 1,800 and sleeps 8. All three have a full kitchen with a stove, oven and dishwasher, plus a washer and dryer. The 360-square-foot guest room is a studio with a mini fridge and microwave, and uses the shared laundry rooms.

There are three outdoor pools: the Lagoon Pool with its family spas and a children’s pool, the Naiʻa Pool, and a Reflection or Quiet Pool, plus seven outdoor whirlpools and a complimentary water slide. There are no lifeguards at the pools, and children 12 and under need an adult with them. The Naiʻa Pool is closed for refurbishment from Sep 7 to Dec 18, 2026; the resort says the other pools stay open.

Spa by the Sea, run by a third-party provider, works out of three open-air cabanas and one indoor room: massage, six kinds of facials and a Hawaiian sea salt scrub. It opens weekdays 9 AM to 6 PM and weekends until 3 PM, by appointment. The main fitness center is open 24 hours, with a sauna and steam rooms.

The resort fronts Naiʻa Lagoon, Ko Olina’s Lagoon 3. The beach is open to the public, with free public parking at the lagoon from sunrise to sunset, and there are no lifeguards; see how to check whether it’s safe to swim. Guests can reserve lagoon cabanas from $100 and umbrellas from $50 on the resort’s booking site, and a beach bungalow for the day runs $350 plus tax on weekdays.

The Activity Center runs programs for kids 5 to 12. Its price isn’t published, and Marriott notes that charges may apply to any activity. The grounds have barbecue grills, a game room, table tennis and a fire pit, and Ko Olina Golf Club is a mile away.

Longboards is the casual oceanfront bar and grill for lunch and dinner, with cabana delivery. Longhi’s serves Italian steak and seafood, with brunch from 8 AM to 3 PM and dinner from 4 to 9 PM. The Naiʻa Pool Bar opens seasonally, and The Marketplace sells Starbucks coffee and snacks. There is no room service. Fia Fia, the resort’s luau, runs Tuesdays at 5 PM from $185.34 per adult on the resort’s booking site, with a fire-knife show by Chief Sielu; there is no show on Dec 1 or Dec 8, 2026. Ko Olina Station, about half a mile away, has Island Country Market for groceries (6 AM to 11 PM) and Monkeypod Kitchen, and Roy’s Ko Olina is at the golf club. Ko Olina Marina runs snorkel and sunset sails. The National Park Service says the drive to Pearl Harbor is shorter coming from the west side than the drive from Waikiki (how to get there). • Check the resort alerts before you pick dates. The Naiʻa Pool is closed until Dec 18, 2026, and the Kona Tower has daytime refurbishment work from Jan 4 to Jun 23, 2027.
• Stock the kitchen on day one. Island Country Market at Ko Olina Station is open 6 AM to 11 PM.
• Stay three nights or more. Marriott lists up to 20% off stays of three nights or longer.
• Mind the garage height. It is 6 feet 10 inches, low for a van with a roof box.
• Bring a card. The resort takes no cash.
