The 30-second verdict

Green World is a free, easy stop for a Planner driving to the North Shore: ask for a farm tour or follow the QR codes, taste the daily samples and buy fresh-roasted coffee. Read the bag first. The farm grows Red Catuai and some Kona Typica on 7 acres, but its single-origin bags are Kona, Kaʻū and Maui, and the House Blend mixes its own Hawaiian beans with Central American beans.

What Green World Is

Green World calls itself a coffee farm with a little farm, cafe and shop, plus an espresso bar and tours. Its About page says the owner, Farmer Green, had the vision in 2009 to plant coffee on former pineapple land, and the cherries are picked by hand.

3

The Free Farm Tour

Tours are free and first come first served, with no reservation. Ask any retail staff member, or tour on your own with the QR codes in the store. Groups call or email for a date and time. No tour length is published.

The trees are Coffea arabica, mostly Red Catuai with a few Kona Typica left. By the farm’s own math, a mature tree makes about 10 pounds of cherries a year, and 10 pounds of cherries makes 1.8 pounds of roasted coffee.

4

Free Samples and the Espresso Bar

Samples are free every day: coffee, tea and chocolate. A typical day runs the house blend, a dark roast, three flavored coffees and two iced teas. An espresso bar is on site, but no menu or drink prices are published.

What You Can Buy, and Where It Is Grown

Green World roasts on site every day, and the shop’s coffee was roasted within the past few days. It does not sell green beans. The single-origin bags are 100% Kona, 100% Kaʻū and 100% Maui. The House Blend is the one that names the farm’s own beans: its own roasted Hawaiian beans blended with Central American beans. The farm does not say where its other blends come from, and it labels nothing as Oahu-grown.

Online prices, Oct 6, 2026: Kona is $90 a pound, Kaʻū and Maui $68, the House Blend $38, and named blends such as North Shore $30. It grinds on request.

Getting There and Making a Day of It

The farm is at 71-101 Kamehameha Highway in Wahiawā. For a Planner building the drive north, it is the first stop on a North Shore day, 0.92 miles from Dole Plantation in a straight line. Drive times and parking are not published. Plan on a car (our guide to renting a car on Oahu), and the Oahu scenic drive map shows where it sits on the loop.

Beyond it, what to do on the North Shore covers the coast and the best coffee on the North Shore lists the cafes. For chocolate instead of coffee, Lonohana grows cacao on the North Shore and runs its factory tour in Kakaʻako, Honolulu (our Lonohana guide). The Viator tour above passes Dole Plantation and Haleiwa but is not a Green World tour. Green World on Google Maps.

Rental car

Drive to Wahiawā and the North Shore

Green World is off Waikiki and rideshares are scarce past Wahiawā. A car pairs it with Dole Plantation, Haleiwa and the coast. DiscoverCars searches the island’s rental agencies in one go. Compare Oahu rental cars on DiscoverCars.

Could be better

Green World does not say how much of what you taste is its own coffee, and publishes no tour length, espresso prices or parking details. Call (808) 622-2326 if they matter.

Consider Instead

  • Dole Plantation is the pineapple stop, 0.92 miles away in a straight line, open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Pick it for pineapple, not coffee; its site states no coffee offering. Map.
  • Island Vintage Coffee Haleiwa is the pick for a Haleiwa cafe with a kitchen: it markets 100% Kona, says its beans are roasted daily, and opens 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (kitchen to 2). Map.
  • Haleʻiwa Bowls is the pick for cold brew and an açaí bowl: organic cold brew at $5, roasted on the North Shore, open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Map.

  • Call for groups. (808) 622-2326.
  • Check holidays. Closed Thanksgiving Day (Nov 26, 2026) and Christmas Day, 4 p.m. close on July 4 and Dec 24, 9 a.m. open on Jan 1.
