The 2024 Oahu Travel Guide’s Best Hotel’s on Oahu: Top 5
- Kaimana Beach Hotel
- The Kaimana Beach Hotel located in Diamond Head is the best of both worlds. With its location on Kaimana Beach you are all but guaranteed to get a glimpse of one of Oahu’s resident Sea Turtles as well as Kaiwi the Hawaiian Monk Seal who has given birth to multiple pups on this beach. After you The Hau tree is the perfect happy hour spot with delicious drinks and snacks. The laid back Kaimana Beach Hotel is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to experience Waikiki without being in Waikiki.
- Turtle Bay Resort
- The property was recently transformed with a $250 million dollar makeover. As a result, the old Turtle Bay is nothing but a memory. The post remodel resort is hardly recognizable and is an oasis on the north shore of Oahu. Experience Oahu in one of Hawaii’s most famous locations. In addition to panoramic views, Turtle bay offers world class dining, golf, horseback riding and so much more.
- Halekulani
- The Halekulani has welcomed guests to the Waikiki beachfront for more than a century. A customer service experience that seems unmatched in todays world. The Halekulani prides itself in “anticipating your needs and making sure you want for nothing.” Top-tier service, award-winning cuisine, unique amenities and no resort fee surprises, are all part of the Halekulani experience.
- Aulani
- A luxury resort that was designed with local artisans and cultural experts. The Aulani’s goal is to provide a unique one of a kind stay that only Disney can create. While beautiful and culturally accurate, the Aulani is truly a one of a kind experience. Its large pools are second to none. With a large river pool, multiple Hot Tubs, and Mickey themed shows throughout the day. The Aulani is a perfect family getaway even if only for a few nights. Be warned though, at times the Aulani can feel more like being at the Magic Kingdom instead of in paradise. As a result, we don’t recommend it for someone looking to relax in a tranquil setting.
- The Kahala Hotel & Resort
- A walk around the Kahala lobby and you can feel the history in its walls. Visited by famous people from all walks of life. The Kahala was one of the Islands first true tastes of luxury. The Kahala is steps away from the famous Waialae County Club (Host of the PGA Sony Open). Notably, the Kahala provides pristine views of the pacific ocean and Koko Head crater. A perfect getaway for families, couples, or business. The Kahala has a little bit of everything including a chance to swim with the dolphins. Although this practice can be ethically questionable, the Kahalaโs programs and habitat are certified by American Humane and the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks & Aquariums.
